Vetus filters with 3 centrifugal. It developed for high powered motors. CE, ABYC and SOLAS (IMO) approval and also can be used at the commercial boats. The filter can withstand a fire test. This modular system may be ordered in combinations of 2 to 6 filters of up to 5000hp. The fuel inlet and outlet can be configured on the same side or oppsite sides. When determining the required capacity it is always assumed that one filter is held in reserve. So, with a dual filter only one element is in use and the other is in reserve. With a 6 filter configuration, 5 elements are in use and one is in reserve. These dual filters are supplied with a vacuum gauge as standard. When the gauge shows in the yellow zone (-0.2 ile -0.35 kg/cm²) the recyclable filter element should be replaced. Fine paper element filters to 30 microns as standard. A 10 micron element is available on request. All these filters have a patented fuel flow system. The fuel passes from the top of the unit to the bottom and from the outside to the inside providing the most effective filtering and longest filter life possible.
The filtering stages are as follows:
• Centrifugal separator removes water and large solids
• Colescent stage removes suspended water & small particles
• Fine paper element filters to 30 microns as standard. A 10 micron element is available on request. All these filters have a patented fuel flow system
